SALZBURG, Austria, Aug. 6 ó It may seem a stretch to consider a composer who died at 35 to have had a late period. But one of the goals of ìMozart 22,î the Salzburg Festivalís presentation this summer of Mozartís complete operatic works in full productions, is to demonstrate how much he developed as an opera composer in the 23 years between his first and last stage works.
