China student wins Cardiff Singer

A 23-year-old student from China has won the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World title.[BBC News, 18 June 2007]
Bass-baritone Shen Yang, from Shanghai Conservatory of Music, won the title at St David’s Hall in Cardiff on Sunday.
