The Minnesota Opera’s “Orazi & Curiazi” is more Romeo & Tybalt than Romeo & Juliet.
The most thrilling duet is between the two male leads, Scott Piper as Curiazio and Ashley Holland as Orazio, who share childhood memories, recall a battle in which one saved the other’s life and then grumble about having to kill each other for the glory of Rome ó everything short of “I wish I knew how to quit you.”
