Wagner’s “Ring” cycle has rarely felt so, well, cyclical as it did at the conclusion of Sunday afternoon’s superb performance of “Gˆtterd‰mmerung” at the War Memorial Opera House. After introducing the individual installments of its new production over three years, the San Francisco Opera is finally set to take things from the top with complete cycles, beginning next week.
