Longtime operagoers sometimes lament that the Dallas Opera no longer presents the star singers ñ the Maria Callases, the Joan Sutherlands, the Jon Vickerses ñ that early on made it such an international sensation. But in its 50th season the company has assembled a Barber of Seville cast hard to beat anywhere.
