ìMadama Butterflyî is a lot of opera for 25 bucks. At the Salzburg Festival $25 would probably get you half the overture, at the Metropolitan Opera a little more. The New York City Operaís Opera-for-All series offered five of these all-for-one-low-price attractions last fall and came back with Pucciniís weepy, ever-winning study in Japanese-American relations on Friday.
